A Heparin-Mimicking Sulfonated Reverse Thermal Gel for the Delivery of Heparin-Binding Therapeutic Proteins

Description:

Dr. Daewon park has developed a unique heparin-mimicking sulfonated reverse thermal gel. The heparin-mimicking sulfonated reverse thermal gel undergoes typical sol-gel phase transition upon  reaching body temperature and thus achieves a non-invasive treatment by being injected as a liquid. It also acts like heparin for the delivery of positively-charged therapeutic proteins, while preserving their activity.
