Gadolinium-enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Cartilage (dGEMRIC) is an MR imaging technique used to determine cartilage degeneration. The current approach to dGEMRIC, however, makes clinical decision-making difficult due its poor accuracy. To address this issue, Dr. Seonghwan Yee of the University of Colorado has developed a technique that will significantly improve accuracy of dual flip angle-based T1 Mapping in the dGEMRIC scan.
